McLean is located a few miles west of our Nation's capital in the heart of northwest Fairfax County. McLean is home to many diplomats, members of Congress and high-ranking federal government officials, entrepreneurs and service businesses partially attributable to the close location to Washington, D.C. and the Central Intelligence Agency.

McLean residents are zoned to Fairfax County Public Schools - with two public high schools Langley High School and McLean High School, both which consistently rank in the top 100 schools in nation on an annual basis, and other highly regarded private schools. McLean citizens are involved in their community, participating in visual arts, choral societies, symphonic orchestras, theatre productions, civic clubs, citizens associations, environmental clean-ups and many other volunteer efforts. Our residents are always working with business leaders and local elected officials to shape the future of McLean to ensure our high quality of living.

McLean has an award winning police and volunteer fire department and is governed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. We are represented by the Dranesville District Supervisor.
