Parks and Trails

The Greater McLean area is home to hundreds of acres of public open space, a vast trail network, a one of a kind park for children of all abilities, breathtaking national, regional and county parks that each offer unique recreation options for patrons of all ages and interests.

Most of our parks and trails are maintained by the Fairfax County Park Authority which is governed
by the Park Authority Board, appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Additional information on local parks, recreational class program, tours, summer camps, and other programs offered by the Park Authority can be found on their website, www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks or by calling 703-324-8702.
