The public is invited to meet and question the United States 8th and 10th Congressional District Candidates on Thursday, October 9 from 7 to 9 pm at the McLean Community Center.
After opening statements, the candidates will respond to questions submitted in writing and also to questions spoken by those attending this ‘Meet and Greet’ event.
The McLean Branch of the American Association of University Women along with the League of Women Voters is hosting the event. Invitations have been sent to all the candidates in the 8th and 10th Districts. The Coalition of American Pacific Asians of Northern Virginia, AARP and the McLean Citizens Association are also hosting the evening. For more information please contact maryloumelley@gmail.com .
