The McLean Orchestra, under the direction of Maestra Miriam Burns, will present, Spark of Love, February 14 at 8 PM at the Oakcrest School, 850 Balls Hill Road in McLean. The concert will feature violinist, Siwoo Kim, performing the Korngold Violin Concerto in D Major. Winner of the 2011 Juilliard Violin Competition, Kim made his New York concerto debut at Carnegie Hall - Stern Auditorium with James DePreist and the Juilliard Orchestra. In addition, he has given concerto performances with the Columbus, Houston, Springfield, and Tulsa symphony orchestras. Also, on the program are Berlioz’s Overture to Beatrice and Benedict, Dvorak’s Wood Dove and Liszt’s Les Preludes.
