2009 Benefit Golf & Tennis Classic
The golf and tennis committee consists of about ten members two of which are members of the McLean Orchestra. The name of the tournament is 2009 McLean Benefit Classic held at Hidden Creek Country Club on Monday June 8th. We co-sponsor this event with the McLean Orchestra. The golf will be a 12 noon shotgun start with check-in around 10:30 am . The tennis will begin at 2 pm with an hour clinic and two hour round robin with check-in at 1 pm . Both include lunch, cocktails, and dinner. There will be lots of awards, prizes, drawings etc. Sponsors get all kinds of benefits including player participants, advertising/signage, recognition etc. The maximum number of golfers is 144 and tennis players 32. Every committee member is involved in communicating the event to members and other contacts and generating sponsorships. This event is one of two major fund raising events for the Chamber.
