About Bite Me Cancer
The Bite Me Cancer foundation was founded by Nikki Ferraro, a then 17 year old teenager who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Bite Me Cancer's mission is to raise research funds and awareness for thyroid cancer, the fastest growing cancer in the country, and to support and inspire teenagers battling all kinds of cancers. The foundation distributes an age appropriate teen support bag to those special teenagers in treatment for cancer and also has been developing other activities for them.
We ask for the support of the community in a couple of ways: donating to our foundation through individual donations, corporate sponsorship, having your own fundraiser, volunteering on one of our committees or our board, helping to identify teens and thyroid cancer patients that may benefit from our foundation, and sharing the names of cancer treatment centers that can benefit from our teen support bags.
