Gilbert's breakfast and a panel discussion about small business funding. The discussion will be titled "Access To Capital: A Panel Discussion on Financing Solutions for Small Businesses" and will be presented by representatives from StreetShares, Republic Capital Access, and Access National Bank. The panel will discuss various financing solutions including social lending, bank debt, and factoring. We will also recognize our July Non-Profit Spotlight, Falls Church-McLean Children's Center.
Meet Our SpeakersDavid Bann
Vice President, Sales & Business Development; StreetShares, Inc.
David is currently the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at StreetShares, where he manages all strategic partnerships and sales efforts for the company. David joined StreetShares in 2014 and previously served as a policy advisor in the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and the Department of Defense. David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.Linh Phu
AVP, Commercial Lender | Access National Bank
Linh Phu is a Commercial Lender with Access National Bank’s Government Contractor Lending Group which focuses on providing customized financing solutions and attentive account management for small to medium government contractors. Linh has been with the Bank for seven years. In the past four years, Linh has developed an expertise in working with government contractors from $1 million to $100 million in revenue at various stages of their life cycles. Linh graduated with a Bachelor degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Virginia Tech.
Matt Stavish
Matt began his career in intercollegiate athletics at the University of Virginia in 2003, moving to Washington and Lee University, and finally Temple University. He transitioned to Novartis Vaccines in 2011 to focus on public health and immunization practices. At Novartis, Matt held several roles in sales, marketing, and management. Matt holds a degree in Chemistry from Washington and Lee University, a Masters in Chemistry Education from the University of Virginia, and a MBA in Finance and Innovation Entrepreneurship from the Northeastern University D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
