About the Speaker Supervisor John Foust has represented the Dranesville Magisterial District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors since 2008. At present, he is Chairman of the Board's: Economic Advisory Commission and its Housing Committee. He also serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board's Budget Committee and its Health and Human Services Committee. Additionally, he serves the Board on several regional boards and commissions, including the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission. A longtime, active citizen of McLean, Supervisor Foust is a past-president of the McLean Citizens Association and of the McLean Planning Committee. Supervisor Foust holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and The George Washington University Law School.
