SHARE is experiencing an Emergency Food Shortage. Please consider dropping donations of non-perishables, especially items that we are completely out of, including:

White sugar

Vegetable oil

Dried beans

White rice(2 lb. bags)

Dried pasta

Canned fruit
Also, non-food items that we are out off and cannot be purchased with food stamps, including:

Toilet paper

Diaper wipes

Laundry soap

Shampoo
This can be done at SHARE, located in donated space at McLean Baptist Church, 1367 Chain Bridge Road, McLean (follow the sign near the playground). SHARE is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9:30am-12pm (except holiday weekends). There is also an after-hours bin located near the entrance to SHARE
SHARE will be having Emergency Food Drives on
Saturday August 17 from 9am-5pm at the McLean Giant and the Safeway grocery stores on Anderson Road and in the Chesterbrook Plaza. Please stop by and donate.
Thank you for your help with this! It is difficult to provide enough food and enlist good volunteers in the summertime, yet it is SHARE's time of greatest need.
